• Never ghosthunt alone.
• Don't leave your team/ group and go off alone.
• If you're suddenly ill or dizzy, grab a buddy and get out.
• If one of your fellow investigators seems unresponsive, dazed, or acts like someone else, get them out.
  
• Do what you need to to feel protected before you start, a prayer, or positive affirmation is an example
• Thank them for letting you visit when you leave.
